Now our class is all going to build slightly-worn urban environments for gangsters to live in and such!
First I made cube city...
Then I extruded parts to build a sidewalk
Then I extruded to build a sewer and a place for sewage to run off
Then a window was built using Detach Components to several vertexes (vertices, whatever)
Then a door was build using the Bridge function (and guess what... Extrude! ..again!)
Then a NURBS curve was used to make a handle (and then the curve was extruded)
Then Justin made us build a weird cloud-shaped curve - I thought he was being a psycho, until he extruded it to make a window shape!
Then a block was built using the Sculpt Geometry option and was duplicated and translated using Duplicate Special
Lastly, we used a curve, the bridge tool, (and extrude!) and Duplicate Special to make this iron railing
So, yes, lots of extruding so far. And I learned about the Bridge, Duplicate Special, and Sculpt Geometry tools primarily.
